OMAHA, Neb. — A favorite in the Omaha restaurant scene is closing its doors.
The Grey Plume announced that it is ending its run after 10 years. The Midtown Crossing establishment was known for “seasonably-driven modern cuisine” and was featured in publications like The Washington Post and People.
“Our furlough during the COVID-19 restaurant mandates taught us a lot about ourselves and allowed us the opportunity to reassess what is really important as we move forward in life,” chef Clayton Chapman wrote in a post announcing the closure. “We have decided the time has come to close the doors on our decade-long run. We are truly thankful for all of the opportunities we were given and the memories will be cherished forever.”
